The Cologurd
Classic returned to the Omni at Tucson National and Golf
fans returned in force to watch Miguel Jimenez
can to holes in one to hold off Bernhard Langer for his
2nd PGA Champions Tour win in 2022.
Jiminez rolled in his first hole
in one during the first round and 2nd came on the final
round that helped distance himself from the field over
Woody Austin, Langer and Jerry Kelly
to earn his 2nd PGA Champions tour victory in 2022
The fans returned in force to
watch after the Pandemic season to see the Grandstands,
leader boards and Tents set up in anticipation of the
PGA Champions Tour's return, and were not disapointed.
It seemed for awhile that
Bernhard Langer may catch Miquel Angel Jimenez
however Langer will have to wait another start in his
chase to track down Hale Irwin for all time wins as the
64 year old Bernhard Langer needs just two more to tie
Irwin
Jimenez seemed relaxed all week
and entertained the crowd with the "one, two and
through" during the Pro-Am and and sheathing his club
after his 2nd hole in one. Jimenez stolled up the 18th
Fairway puffing on a Cigar. "For me to win any
Tournament is amazing" quipped Jiminez
A star studded field will be back once
again in 2023 as the Cologuard Classic will be back at
the Onmi at Tucson National for another year. Tournament
Director Katy Pradella expressed her joy
announcing the news "We are happy to have the Cologuard
