As a Kitsap County native and North Mason High
School alumni, graduating in 1980. Following his graduation
K-Mac attended broadcasting school in Seattle
in 1989-90, starting his broadcasting career working Metro League
football games on KKFX Radio (AM 1250
KKFX).
In 2001-02,
K-Mac was
a Co-host on Coaches Corner on KITZ (AM 1400).
From 2002-2003 Kevin moved on for
2 seasons to do NAIA
play by Play for the Evergreen State
Geoducks athletic programs on KLAY
Radio (AM 1180) and KMAS (AM 1030). During
that time in 2002, K-Mac started as the
public address announcer for OC baseball.
In
2005 K-Mac was hired as Play by Play
Broadcaster
for Kitsap BlueJackets
Baseball club,
member of the
West Coast League and was "The Voice" for
11 seasons.
In
2008 K-Mac started ISPN Sports,
an Internet Sports Broadcasting Network airing the
Kitsap BlueJackets baseball (2008-14),
ISPN Currently still airs Bremerton Knights Basketball
also Olympic, Klahowya and Central Kitsap High School
Football proagrams.
In 2013 ISPN Sports has
expanded coverage to Pro Boxing, MMA Events and
Professional Golf. The highlight of K-Mac's carreer was
working as USGA Media at the
2015 US Open at Chambers Bay. ISPN Sports also
brings coverage of the
Web.com Tour, LPGA,
PGA Tour and
Champion Tour Events.
Since 2017, K-Mac can be
heard on KITZ 1400 AM Bremerton-Seattle
and KGTK 920 AM Olympia, hosting the all
new syndicated,"Pin High"
Golf Show from 6-7pm followed by the
K-Mac Sports Show
Thurday's from 7-8pm, both of which are Kitsap County's
only Sports Shows
In 2018, K-Mac is
back broadcasting High School Football for KITZ
1400 AM, as well as Broadcasting
events such as the Suquamish Clearwater Legends Golf Tournament
and former
Seahawk Randall Morris celebrity
Charity Auction.
2019- K-Mac was
Hired to do the Public Address for Olympic High
School Trojans Boys and Girls Basketball, and
completed his 18th season as the Public Address
Announcer for Olympic College Athletics.
In March 2019 K-Mac featured an Historical
Interview with PGA Legendary Golfer Lee
Elder upon receiving the Bob Jones
Award from the USGA on his Pin High
Golf Show. K-Mac will also be returning for his 2nd
season Broadcasting the Semi-Pro
Football Team Kitsap Storm. In August
2019, K-Mac made his Debut as First Tee
Announcer for the Champions Tour Event at the
Boeing Classic annual event at TPC
Snoqualmie Ridge. K-Mac also returned
broadcasting High School Football on
Mega Talk Radio KITZ 1400 AM
(Seattle-Bremerton) and KGTK 920 AM
(Olympia) For the 2nd Straight Year, K-Mac covered the
LPGA Legends Tour with Eclusive Coverage with Interviews
and Video/
2020- the COVID-19
Pandemic Hit the World, However, K-Mac continued to
bring Sports Coverage to the Airway's and was the only
local Broadcast Network airing High School Football and
Basketball, the KMac Show
and
Pin High Golf Show with Exclusive
Guests like Kevin Calabro former
Seattle Sonics Broadcaster, and Sheri Sam
former WNBA 2 X Champion.
2021- KMac left
Olympic High School providing Public Address to return
Broadcasting Bremerton Knights Basketball & HS Football
on the airwaves and streamed LIVE on Facebook and
continued to be the only Network Bringing local sports
paired with KITZ 1400 AM for select games
2022-
Business as usual as KMac entered his 22nd year providing Public
Address for Olympic College Womans Volleyball and Mens
and Womens Basketball, In 2022 KMac entered his 15th
Season Broadcasting HS Football and Basketball on Local
Radio and Internet and 1st Year with Video Broadcasting
into the Mix, also entered his 10th year
providing Public Address for the Annual HS Senior All
Star Games and 4th Year as 1st Tee Announcer for the
Boeing Classic at TPC Snoqualmie Ridge..
